Diploma in IPR Litigation & Commercial Court Practice
Introduction
Intellectual property litigation involves disputes concerning the ownership, validity, infringement, use, licensing, and commercial exploitation of valuable intangible assets. Effective IP litigation requires professionals to combine substantive knowledge of intellectual property rights with procedural strategy, evidence management, legal drafting, and commercial understanding. IP disputes may involve complex issues such as infringement, passing off, validity challenges, prior use, ownership, licensing rights, confidential information, digital infringement, and competing commercial interests. Commercial courts require precise pleadings and disciplined litigation strategy, particularly where parties seek urgent interim relief, damages, injunctions, or other commercial remedies. This diploma provides practical training in IPR litigation, commercial court procedure, infringement strategy, evidence, advanced drafting, interim relief, advocacy, settlement, and enforcement.
