Diploma in Corporate Litigation & Tribunal Practice

Diploma in Corporate Litigation & Tribunal Practice
Corporate 90 Hrs.

Introduction

Corporate litigation involves disputes arising from the governance, management, ownership, transactions, and regulatory affairs of companies. Effective corporate dispute resolution requires an understanding of substantive corporate law as well as procedural strategy, pleadings, evidence, interim relief, and tribunal practice. Corporate matters may involve disputes between shareholders and directors, oppression and mismanagement, insolvency-related issues, regulatory proceedings, contractual conflicts, and challenges to corporate decisions. Lawyers handling these matters must be able to identify the appropriate forum, formulate a litigation strategy, prepare persuasive pleadings, and present arguments supported by relevant law and evidence. This diploma provides practical training in corporate litigation and tribunal proceedings, with emphasis on case strategy, drafting, procedural practice, advocacy, and effective representation before appropriate judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
